The mission of the 12th District WMS is centered around spreading the liberating gospel of Jesus Christ world-wide by thought, word and deed. Our purpose is to inspire, empower, inform, and care for youth, young adults, women, and the elderly with resources to meet their spiritual, physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs. This is imperative, if we are to make a difference within our global community.

We are committed to pick up a piece of the problems facing humankind on this missionary journey by

• Supporting global initiatives sponsored by the Connectional WMS
• Equipping missionaries in disaster training through the Red Cross
• Providing scholarships to worthy high school graduates within the district
• Providing stipends to mission pastors
• Promoting and providing extensive health education on diseases prevalent to minorities
• Adopting  and caring for the elderly
• Embracing the Young Women’s Initiative and encouraging  young women to join the WMS
• Strengthening  our spiritual  connections, fostering relationships, mentoring, modeling, and teaching youth and young adults
